I think Consumer Reports rated the Ionic Breeze one of the worst cleaners on the market.
I have a large, expensive Sears HEPA filter in my office. The damend filters cost me $100 a year. It is only marginally expensive and it's one of the best one's.
I think you really have to attack this at the whole-house level. Meaning at the furnace. A good furnace based Media-Filter (the 5" think Media Filters, not the electrosatics which I can't stand).
If you have animals, it doesn't matter what you do. You are destined to live in a layer of fuzz forever :)

I get tired of dusting my guitar and other gear, and was wondering if
anyone has used one of those Sharper Image' Ionic Breeze' units (or
similar), and if they really work. Rather pricey so thought I'd ask
before wasting time/money.
