Howdy!
I've got 3 first-time build projects in the works (2 Strats and a
Tele) and each needs a bit of additional wiring. Question is, what
type and guage should I use for internal guitar wiring? I'm all ears.
Thanks!
Steve
This site suggests around 22 guage, stranded wire, pretty close to what
originally used by Fender.

You can also use standard hookup wire you can get at Radio Shack. What's
more important is the quality of the solder connections.
You do *not* need to use anything like "monster" cable.

For relatively long runs it may be a good idea to use flexible, relatively
thin shielded cable. If you do, make sure and ground just one end of the
shield to avoid ground loops.
