More than a couple of times. I played garage bands in the 70's with
amps with the switchable grounds. Bare foot at a pool party... The
worst was left hand on the strings, right hand on an aluminum sliding
glass door. That one HURT.

Yep, for me too. Back in the 60's before polarized plugs and 3-conductor
plugs were common. We practiced outdoors a lot. We had pretty tolerant
neighbors back in those days, many would come to watch.

After we wised up, we used to slap each other and all the mics to make sure
all the grounds were set the same way before we started a gig.
