Never happened to me. I haven't been singing much until recently,
but
I've never had it happen to singers I've worked with either. What
causes that, a short in the PA?

I think it comes from improper grounding. It's only happened to me on cheap
PA systems. But what was funny, the worst time it ever happened was with the
same AKG mic Setzer is using. That's why it stood out to me.
