If I had to say what you were like in real
life, I would say you are someone with
a huge ego, who thinks they are generally
better than everyone else and will stop at
nothing to prove that whenever possible.
You're also someone who take absolute
delight in proving others are wrong as this
further inflates your swollen head even
more as it proves once again that you
know everything.
You would never ever be able to teach
children or anyone for that matter as you
would mercilessly ridicule them everytime
they made a mistake or did something that
was not up to your perfect standards.
Does that accurately describe you in real

I can see why you think this. You happen to be
the kind of person I would single out IRL - a guy
holding forth like he knows what he's talking
about, when it's apparent to those in the field
that he's blowing smoke.
There are loads of posts more ignorant than
yours (well... maybe _as_ ignorant) that don't
bother me at all. They're usually from people
who don't know something, admit it, and are
trying to find out.
You can be just as ignorant, but you present
an ignorant opinion as fact - e.g., "polyester
finishes kill tone" or "nitro lets the wood breathe"
(it was used on CARS, for christ's sake - do you
think they wanted the metal to "breathe"?) - and
then try to defend it until it's shown to be wrong.
And when it becomes obvious that your original
opinion is leaking, you change it - which would
be admirable, in a way, except you don't admit
changing it. You go into a "what I really meant..."
routine. It reeks of dishonesty.

post - even Lord Valve doesn't maintain that
kind of consistency - but you do it often enough
that IMO they're not just momentary lapses.
