According to who?

According to anyone that has half a clue about electronics.
What does the word "ALL" mean to you? To most people
that means each and every one of whatever. Not most, not half,
not 3/4, but every single one of whatever it is they are talking
about.
If you have a few tubes in a circuit, and it is all tube at that point,

and then you add a few solid state devices, how can you still say
it is "all" tubes? Anyone that has half a clue about electronics
knows that the circuit has become a "hydrid" circuit, using both
vacuum tubes, and solid state devices. This is nothing new. One
of my ham radios is built this way. "kenwood TS-830S". The receiver
circuits are solid state, but the driver and finals are tubes. It is
considered
a hybrid transceiver. Calling it all tube would be silly, and quite
erronious.
Ditto for calling it all solid state.

Any transisters added to the circuits will color the tone.
Maybe good, maybe bad. But once you add those solid state
devices, it's no longer an "all tube" amp.

Yes it is and I have provided written evidence to back that up.

By a "blue book" editor. Get a grip. I've never even heard of the guy.
And even if I had, how does writing an amp "pricing guide" make him
an authority on amp design, or electronics? It doesn't. It just means

he probably has a good grip on the current prices of used amps.
I still maintain that you are taking what he means as a broad generic
term, and making it bedrock fact just because *you* think it''s right.
I still maintain that if you asked him about the amp, he would agree
that it's not an "all tube" amp when using strict technical terms.
If he doesn't, he wouldn't make a pimple on my ass, and that ain't
saying a whole lot being I don't specialize in audio amps too much.
Jim knows what he is talking about, but you dis it cuz he's just a
"bedroom" player. What a load of crap... What the hell difference does
that make as far as amp knowledge? What difference does that make
even as far as geetar playing skills? I play in my bedroom most of the
time. Are you gonna say I don't know any electronics because of
this , even when I've been a licensed ham for 30 years, and hold
an "extra" class license. "NM5K" Are you gonna say that makes me a
lousy geetar player cuz I like to play in the comfort of my house?
Frankly , making a "bedroom" statement like that kinda strikes me
as chickenshit, but when I consider the inane things you like to argue
about... Oh well... Some people were born to bark at the moon.
I must be out of my mind to even bother trading wits with you.. I'd be
better off playing *my* geetar.. I think I will. Right now. In my
bedroom.
To quote the Rev...
Wanna race? If you insist. At that price I can't resist..

I'm sorry but you're wrong and I have proved it.

Show me one piece of solid evidence that backs up what you say.

If this is such common knowledge and everyone knows it then why hasn't
one person posted one shred of evidence to back them up?
