Jeff, same thing as what VampiressX said. It doesn't have to be an
old, vintage guitar to resonate. That is the very first quality I test
for when trying out a guitar to purchase

Lesson learned. I have 5 Electrics sitting here and none of them resonate.
They sound good, but its definitly not the same.
