Guitars that are too light don't work for me at all and I'd rather have
one that is too heavy than too light. When they don't weigh enough, I
feel like there's nothing there or like I'm going to break the thing.
But LPs do tend to be traditionally on the heavy side, some more than
others.
Second that - if they are too light, then it almost feels like a toy,
even if it sounds great! Plus, I have a prosthetic leg so standing,
playing and stomping on a pedal board just doesn't really work well for
me anymore.Mental Image: standing up and playing, going to stomp on a
pedal, finding out gravity works, balance doesn't and crash - but I bet
the feedback would be killer. I do play standing up, but with the leg
issues, much more comfortable to play sitting down. Standing in one
spot is actually harder than walking - makes the leg throb like hell!
