Go check out some G&L's, they are awesome guitars.....all American made and
put together by hand. You should be able to find one around your price
point. Some of the G&L Legacy's are nice too, and a lot cheaper...they are
Asian, but still have the regular USA G&L pickups. I think the S-500 is one
of the most versatile guitars around and can get many, many sounds through a
good amp. Only MHO, PapaCarl
