Sorry, you are wrong on this. Not only are plenty made for the Japanese
market, but they still make some guitars in Japan for the US market.

As a side note - I've noticed lately this trend on Ebay, where a lot of
the used Japanese stuff is actually priced higher than the used USA
guitar of same type. The Japanese stuff is good, but I don't think it's
THAT good, to be higher than the USA stuff.

Could you show me, which Fender's for sale on this site that are made
in Japan?

Apparently I was wrong but I still think the OP was referring to the
line of discontinued Squiers that were made in Japan. I think he is
under the impression that they are still being made.
