I've read about that mod somewhere, makes it easier to string up the
guitar. But I think there was/were an Asian clone(s) that looked very much
like a Bigsby but had holes, not pins.

Anyway, if it doesn't say Bigsby on it, then it isn't.

It is definitely a Bigsby trem, its old but hasn't had a lot of use.
