I heard people say nitro allows the wood to breathe therefore they are
"better", personally I can't really tell the difference. Maybe its more of
an issue on acoustics but on an electric the only thing that are affected is
sustain. The guys at warmoth says that a poly finish is fine if you put it
on thin, if nitro is put on too thick it will affect tone as well...
