Is there anyone that have or play this model of strato o japan similar (for example also i like reissue 68) , and can give some info or suggestions about? Is a good guitar?
thanks very much
the CIJ (Crafted in Japan) are excellent guitars ... they are usually flawless and second to none ... the model you want even has the steel block tremolo ... they have poly finish while the American Reissues have a nitro top coat and a poly base coat if that is important to you.
You can't go wrong with this guitar
just my .02
Crafted in Japan does not mean a higher grade of guitar than Made in Japan. They changed the neck stamp in 1997.
Otherwise they are the same guitars, built on the same lines, by the same employees. Note Fenders serial# and dating chart linked below. Some less than honest ebay sellers have been using this ploy to drive up CIJ guitars bids.
The quality is very good with the Japanese guitars. They are at least as good as thiner American counterparts. The 57 RI is much better than the original 56 I owned.
