That's wonderful to know. However it still doesn't affect the tone of the
guitar or cause any less transfer of string vibration to the top. Keith no
like tape? Great, Keith should state why it's a bad idea if he's going to
throw it out there as such. In classic Keith style, he's offered a useless
opinion.

Ahh you've really got no idea what's being talked about here do you? No one
suggested drilling anchor bolts to support the bridge above the top... we're
talking about placing 1/4" dowells in the bridge base and top. You glue them
to set them so they sit above the top and into bridge base. The weight of
the bridge is still evenly distributed across the top utilizing the bracing
that was designed for it. The only function of the dowells is to prevent the
bridge from moving.

So you agree with me then? The best thing would be to just learn to re-set
it? Or are you trying to tell us you just came shooting out of the womb with
this latent ability and knowledge?

Glad that one didn't shoot right over your head like everything else usually
does.

*Shouldn't* is a theoretical ideal, not a real world practicality, They
shouldn't move at all, but they do. All the time, often by accident.

Ahh Keith, you're such a clueless tool. Yep, you guessed it. I shift that
bridge all over the place when I play. Lots of folks do. While you get busy
getting the memo to the masses about giving it up and quiting, I'll aspire
to play like the petite wild flower of a picker you must be.
Cheers
