hello,
dunno if this is correct, but it should be like the PRS EG-2 ELECTRONICS (Series II - 1991 - 1995)
- Single/Single/Hum with coil tap
5 POSITION BLADE SWITCH
* Bass single coil pickup
* Bass and middle single coil pickup
* Middle single coil pickup
* Middle single coil and treble humbucking pickup
* Treble humbucking pickupPUSH/PULL COIL TAP SWITCH
* Push down for hum/single/single
* Pull up for all single coil soundsdunno if its like this on the stg-004, just try around, you should hear the difference ;)
i have the stg-003 lying around here somewhere, quite a solid piece she is! stays in-tune for a long time, with thin strings i would go with string savers though as the original ones are quite bad.
have fun with it cu

Greetings,
Are you familiar with this guitar? I recently picked one up however I'm new to electrics and there are a few aspects I'm unclear on.
Here is the guitar: http://www.ariausa.com/series/stg004/stg004.html
It has a 'coil-tap' switch which I suppose is easy enough to understand, however, how do I tell each mode apart?
Additionally, there is a second switch for the single-coil/humbucker operation which has 5 different positions. Could someone explain to me what combination of settings this has? I.e. what does each position do?
These questions probably seem elementary, however a clarification would go a long way for me!
