Re-Wired Tele and Have severe hum problems

I recently got a pair of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups for my reissue pink paisley telecaster. While I was in there I also decided to put in all new electronics of a higher quality. Looking back, I probably should have done the project in phases (as it was my first time working on a guitar), but too late now. So I replaced all the wiring, the two tone pots with 250k CTS audio taper pots, a Switchcraft jack and 3 way swith, and a .47uf Poly-Film cap. (all from guitarelectronics.com if you were wondering.)
Anyway, when I got done there is an incredibly annoying hum. Touching the strings has no effect, but touching the control plate takes it down to a normal single coil hum range. Also if I roll the tone pot towards what I would classify as the 'off' position, the hum seems to either become inaudible or is gone. I've been trying to figure this out for a couple days now, but I can't figure out what I did wrong for the life of me! If anyone could loan their knowledge it'd be greatly appreciated.
Here are some links to pics of my pots.

Thanks a lot for any help you can give! .
