Yes, I love those estate auctions. I have seen two guitars at estate sales.
An well worn Gretche Country Gentleman that went for 3500 dollars and
another I had not seen before, a Fender double neck with 6 string on top and
12 string on bottom. That went for 2000. Today I stopped at the local Flea
Market-Antique Mall (Theres tons of them here in the south open 7 days a
week). There were two guitars there. One of them had no name, 6 string
accoustic. Had some mexican writing in the body and the keys were bone,
price was $60. No use for another accoustic as I have a Fender accoustic, a
Martin D-28 and a Johnson Cutaway. They also had one old Harmony with a very
worn hardshell case. It was a Harmony Monterey Archtop. The price was $125.
Guitar was in good condition, the strings set really high off the frets,
just like I remember the old Harmony's. Hard to play. Harmony was my first
Guitar, Kay was my second. Had a Kay Les Paul Sr.
