Well I have only been playing for almost a year now and I had to change
them once when I first got it and once about 2 months ago (because my
#6 got damaged).
To tell you the truth I wouldn't change them unless
A)Its loosing sound quality
B)One of them are damaged
C)They are uncleanably dirty (rust, stains, etc)
or D)You want to try some new strings to see how they sound.
So that is my take on it right now.
