If you use Thunderbird (Mozilla) newsreader you can killfile then when
someone responds to the thread you can "ignore" the thread. Then it
never appears again. Works well in situations like this.
I use Google.
I can't killfile but it gives me a list of the posts by subject and I
just read what I want to read.

Killfiles and "Ignore Threads" were invented to keep (long cherished) newsgroups from appearing like garbage dumps. Which is what mental defects like Weirdo do. It doesn't bother some and others it does. Nice to have a choice. Thunderbird rules! :-)
