Actually, it's not up to the artists. It's up to the
exectutive producer. That's the person with the checkbook.

It has nothing to do with inspiration or unique thinking.
Studios cost mega dollars.

You're clearly trying to imagine/guess at a situation of
which you have no knowledge or experience.
