Hah, a light has suddenly come on in my head about naming intervals. I still find the whole naming convention weird though; "first" would be "zeroth" in my professional world, because C#>>C# is 0, 8, 16..... or maybe 0, 12, 24, 36...., not 1, 9, 17.....
