I DO agree that those that believe in themselves will be succesful.

The world is littered with people who "believe in themselves" yet
still suck at their chosen activity; basketball courts, talent shows,
corporate meetings, poetry readings, etc., ...
Mike

I don't think that "suckage" part holds water. There's at
least two things to consider:

1 - who is defining "suckage"? Which member(s) of the audience?

We'll never agree on that. Some like the bob, some hate him,
for example.

<g> You make a valid point Mike. Lesson learned.

Jim

Yes a very valid point. But look at the other side of the story ...
how many people that do not believe in themselves enjoy any degree of
success ... using for reference their *own* definition of 'success."
Paul

The main counter point I want to mention is this-

2 - _not_ believing in yourself _guarantees_ suckdom.

I can't think of any "successful" g players that truly
think they suck. They might be modestly quoted in
magazines etc., but I think you'd have to search hard
for any successful player that actually believed it.

Be careful for what you wish for-

If you think you suck, guaranteed that you will.

Snark.
