That's exactly my take on Dr Ed.
PhD that can't spell? I don't think so.
Invents things that make life wonderful for mankind.
Uses that as an excuse every time someone tries to
offer constructive critique of his music. But doesn't
care enough about that mankind that he's so proud of
helping to go to the extremely difficult and painful
process of spelling a simple word like "hobbie" correctly.

He's a piece.
