Got my picks in the post this morning, 6 picks of various thickness I like
the thinnest one .50mm, I now find it a lot easier to strum then I did
yesterday just using my hand, guitar feels comfortable on my lap all is
good, I have ordered a Korg GA-1 off of eBay as the local guitar shop had
none in stock but could order.
as you get used to strumming and playing with .050 -
get yourself .060 or .065 or .070 and set a few picks aside
Slowly but surely you might like to use just a slightly thicker
pick for single note leads and then you'll get used to strumming
with it too. Starting out at .050 is cool though.
But keep a few .060's or slightly thicker picks around to use
and get used to slowly but surely as you start to do some single
note leads and arpeggios and single string stuff.. etc.
just my 2 cents of suggestion.
