...anyway, here we are heading to dinner after the service, and I get pulled over in a DUI gauntlet that we all had to go through to get to the resturant. The exchange went as follows:
cop: have you been drinking tonight, sir?
me: I'm not even gonna say this because you won't believe it...
cop: nothing to drink tonight?
me: ok...I'm gonna say it - no, I haven't been drinking, and in fact I'm on my way to dinner from church...
cop: you play guitar in church?
me: yes, and that's it in the back seat actually.
cop: you sure there's a guitar in there and not a sniper rifle?
me: tonight, yes - there's a guitar in there...
cop: ok...have a good evening.
