I think most applications ask if you have ever been convicted of a
felony.

You can go down to Wally World or Home Depot (both of which
use the same HR contractor) and fill out the app in their
little computer screen kiosk thingie. Find out for sure
rather than believing me or some guy with several, non-real
identities.

According to the following site, they ask about convictions:
http://jobsearch.about.com/od/jobapplications/a/walmartapp.htm

"Next, you will fill out a questionnaire in which you are asked to provide your age, and if you have ever been convicted of a felony, theft, fraud, or a violent crime."

If you have an insurance agent friend, ask him/her what
your background check reveals.

If you're worried, pay the $35 bucks to have a PI
do the search. You'll find all kinds of stuff that
somebody with a name close to yours has done.

Hope your real name isn't something like
Michael Jackson.
