'course, they don't have much else to choose from in these parts. I

I think it's really a matter of the makeup of the area...if you excluded engineers, physicists, doctors, etc. around here you'd be excluding nearly 30-40% of the area's population, I think. Maybe even more. I've tried "I'm an engineer"...got me nowhere fast.

....neither does being a gun owner - PD asked the folks in the box how they felt about guns being that it was a murder trial, and if any of them owned any...all but one of the men and ALL of the women in the box raised their hands...judge laughed, and said something to the effect of - "that's our county, alright".
