Thomas expounded in news:h0r6jo$lh7$1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:
With my usenet service being dropped by my provider I looked into
motzarella and set up the account and it works fine. I have been
using Outlook Express for my news reader and for the most part it has
worked fine until recently. I have been noticing that many times when
a new topic will start, only after a day or two the original post is
gone, all the replies are there but no original post. I thought I
would try Thunderbird or Sea Monkey which look the same to me but my
problem is that neither of those two seem to have a place for me to
enter my password. I find a place where it says enter user name and
password but there is no place for the password, just the username.
I have found where you can manage passwords and set a master password
but that is not what I need. It actually says "enter user name and
password" but there is only a line for the user name. So what happens
is that Im only able to download about ten groups. If anyone can point
me in the right direction, It would be appreciated. Thanks.
Thomas
I used to use Thunderbird. But now that I've used the
old Xnews client for a while, I prefer that. It's a bit
quirky, but it has many endearing features.
