The last time I went acoustic guitar shopping, I had in my mind that I'd spend about $1500. But I played all the guitars that grabbed my attention.
I ended up spending about $3000. No regrets. That was seven or eight years ago, I think, and I have had a million dollars worth of joy playing the thing.
