sprung for dinner, then I went over to their space and live recorded a
few hours of their practice with my LS-10.

Pretty simple recorder to use - recorded them full PCM, just got home
and did a few quick rush edits of their best three using Audacity -
chopped them into individual songs, then pulled those edits back into
Audacity and exported as .mp3 so I could e-mail him the rushes - and
yeah - the full PCM masters sound WAY better than .mp3.

Neither are "broadcast quality" as I was only X-Ying the sweet spot in
the room, but for working critique copy, they'll do just fine.

So now I gotta start thinking of more places for dinner...I'll likely be
expanding my local utility.  Unless I sell folks on buying their own
LS-10s...I tend to do that.
