That's always been my experience.
Step on a Blues Driver and you know what to expect.
Plus you can do it in the middle of playing.
Step on one of those programmable things and
you may or may not get what you want if you were
too fast, too slow, didn't figure in the delay,
have your midi cables hooked up correctly,
hold your mouth just right etc.
