I recently gave my 5 year old grandaughter a dreadnaught acoustic...It
is way too large for her right now, but she will grow into it.
She loves to sit and strum it. She tries to mimic me, but her hands
are too small so I show her how to play single notes.
G chord 000003
Em chord 000000
C chord (or Am7) 000010
D7 chord 000012
There's a couple of notes in there that don't fit.
But generally she'll have a I vi IV V of I vi ii V.
That'll get her through a ton of songs as she
starts to hear the differences in the chords.

Don't forget GM7 000002
