Its sooooo much trouble to get an acurate count so the govenment will
just tax everyone ( and take 30% cut for doing it) - Ok now that would
be fair?

In Canada, we pay a "music tax" (essentially, though they don't like
calling it that) on blank CDs and tapes. I don't like it, but that is what
has been installed into our system.

Life is full of compromises. And everyone has their hands out ;-)

And who said anything about fair?!?!
