Jack trolled us with:
Do you know for certain that Super Tramp or any of the various
and a sundry professional musicians out in the real did not
originally learn in the manner your daughter is being taught?
I know for certain that Eric Clapton was
addicted to heroine.
I guess that makes it ok for your daughter
to do the same.
That is such pertinent comparison.
Perhaps it isn't pertinent. Heroine use is
at worst, a state crime. Copyright violation
is not only a federal offense, but a violation
of international treaty.
More to the point, you, presumably a musician,
when violating copyright by stealing material,
are harming your fellow musicians.
I'll start my stopwatch and mark the time when you
claim "the musicians don't make any/much/enough money
from royalties, it all goes to some fat cats at
Well it goes to those "fat cats" if the musician
chooses to include that corporate entity in the
profit sharing. But it's their choice, not yours.
The potential profit you deny the rights owner
is THEIRS to decide if/when/how it gets made
available to you and me. It's not YOUR choice,
There's a lot of excuses that a lot of unethical
law breakers come up with to justify their theft.
No doubt we will hear some of those from you as
you continue to troll us with your viewpoint.
But we/I have heard it all before. There have
been many, many unethical criminals that have
come before you. Your viewpoint isn't new.
Perhaps that's something
you don't know, Jack.
