Saturday I used this unit with my band.
Female singer.
It was absolutely fantastic and I only used one preset for most of our
songs.
All we (singer) had to do was set the harmonizer for the right key for
each song (very fast and easy) and turn the harmony off and on where
needed.
For this I wrote where the harmony is off or on on the lyrics sheets.
It worked so well that it is an absolute necessity now.
Even though the singers pitch is spot on it will correct any pitch
errors.
It also has the global setting set for reverb, delay, voice doubling
and pitch correction when the harmony is off.
Now I'm an old guy who is not into midi and digital at all.
But this unit has opened me up.
It is easy to use and the outcome is hard to believe.
The more I listen to recordings the more I realize that they are using
harmonizers for the harmony.
I am going to buy a midi control box to use the guitar to control the
harmony.
In the preset mode the harmony follows beautifully so long as the song
stays in key and many songs do stay in key.
But some songs do go out of key or madulate to another key.
At this point the harmonizer is putting out the harmony for the
original key and that doesn't sound good.
With the guitar controlling the harmonizer the harmony will follow
what ever chords you play in any key.
Plus the singer will not have to change keys with the harmonizer, they
will change with what ever you play on the guitar.
