Thanks for all these answers, 2 things
-I didn't realise it was a Bob Dylan's song. I was just fingering some
arpeggios on my guitar and made up for the name of the chords after
that. That's pretty annoying, I decided to change the harmony by
mixing these chords and adding some more that is not in "Lay Lady
lay"..
-It's true that I was thinking about a single scale, it's definitively
more complicated than that. I decided only to trust my ears and I came
up with a melody. It's good to have some theory but it tends to block
me by thinking too much mechanically and loosing the sense of the
music.
