I hope somebody gives a good answer to this

I looked at the Ring of Fire, since it's
only got 3 chords I think.
One online showed C G C and I think one other chord,
slipped my mind.
Then the movies version showed it with A and D chords.

It's pretty plain jane I IV V

I IV I
Love...is a burnin' thing...
[repeat for the other phrases]

chorus:
V IV I
I fell in to a burnin' ring of fire
V IV I
I went down down down and the flames were gettin' higher
I IV
And it's burn, burn, burn...the ring of fire [blah blah]

I don't have a recording. I'm not sure if it goes to
the V chord in the verse as in -

I IV I
Love...is a burnin' thing... (and it)
I V (or IV)
Makes...a firey ring

On "firey ring" I don't remember if it goes
to IV or V.

I'm also not sure if I got the lyrics right.
But one way or another, it's I IV V. So if
you're playing the "correct" chord now, the
next chord has only two possibilities. Play
either/both and decide which one you like.
