All this will come to you in time. But to get going, try strumming a chord and see if you can start singing it based on that chord you played. When it seems it's time to change chords, try some chords you know, ones you think might be likely suspects. When you hit on that chord, write it down. Eventually, with a simple song, you'll get through it. Soon you'll start to hear some relationships between chords, and it will get easier.

There are more schooled ways of doing this, of course, but this is a fun way to get started. Enjoy the instrument, don't be intimidated by it. Good luck.
