Did draw and cut out a fretboard out of postrboard
to have the notes to look at every so often.
That and the absoulte fretboard trainer software, I bet
will do the trick.
Is it too soon to start learning a scale, or will
it tie in good to doing the drills to learn the notes?

There will be plenty of time left for scales.. unless like, if you're 70
and diebetic, smoking with heart disease.
