I reread my initial post to the OP, and still don't see what you are
reacting to.

I read that a) he is asking for the impossible, and b) makes a smart
assed statement about who can and can't respond to his post.

I responded to both with a basic good luck, meaning that neither one
is likely to happen.

You get into a tit for tat with Lumpy, and since I agreed with Lumpy's
information given, you make personal attacks toward me also.

I follow up with a disagreement about the acoustic thing, but qualify
that my knowledge is limited, again point out the OP's hubris (your
word).

You come back with a more civilized response, but you seem to see
venom in my post where there was none, and do not seem to recognize
the hubris in the OP's post.

Does that about cover it? If I missed a point you made, let me know.
If that is it, then I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

I have been hanging out here for 3-4 years, and though Lumpy's humor
and approach is "unique", he does dispense plenty of good information
and is frequently helpful.

I don't always agree with him or his delivery, but he does keep things
interesting around here.
