next. A cool thing though was doing broken chords for all the C
shapes. Root, 1st & 2nd inversions for 2 octaves.

I took piano as a kid (I wished I had kept at it). I still tend to think
in piano terms for music (I visualize chords as white and black key
notes). I think the piano, standard notation and music theory work rather
well together (simpler).

However, I don't think it is essential to know keyboards for guitar, but
I think it can be helpful with the theory.
