theory, but wouldn't the chord you mention above be Cadd4 rather than
Csus4 since it contains both E (3) and F (4)?
Yes, Csus4 should not have the E. The F should replace the E. A better name for the above would be Cadd11, since the F is in the higher octave. Thanks for pointing this out. Forgot the E was there as well.
I'd call this Csus4:
