a masochist's chord
No, a sadist's. It is impossible to play an Eb chord in II position,
because no note on the 2nd fret is a possible member of an Eb chord.
OTOH Eb7 is possible, but sorta dumb: x6xx323 or 36xx32x
Where's my prize? daveA
Prize? We spelled out the chord later. I wasn't sure it was the second
position but was hoping someone would point that out. I was thinking that
because it was on the 1st fret it would be second position.
x431x3
So I guess that makes it 1st position? Or the 4th because the root is on
the 4?
high e
x
4
3
1
x
3
low e
root would be 1 so 1st position regardless
but what if 3 was the root - it would still be 1st?
would it not be easier to play the eb on the 5th string 6th fret it is the
same note as fourth string first fret.
