When we saw Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris perform one time, I recall
that when she was about to do some solo tunes, she mentioned that idea.
She said that she had a normal upbringing and crises-less life, and
consequently admitted that she had to make up crises's to write about. I
need to write about Fords. That's the only real ongoing crises in my life
lately ;-)

There is also in the series by John Ganapes "Blues you can use Guitar
chords" No cd with this one just chord construction, progression & voicings.
I bought Essential Blues guitar by Dave Celentano which is similar to blues
you can use.
I can't play the blues yet although the wife left me and the dog died. I
miss the dog
