the best thing you can do is experience some tragedy in life so you
can have blues cred and lyrical fodder, yes? ;-)
When we saw Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris perform one time, I recall
that when she was about to do some solo tunes, she mentioned that idea.
She said that she had a normal upbringing and crises-less life, and
consequently admitted that she had to make up crises's to write about. I
need to write about Fords. That's the only real ongoing crises in my life
bugger). More Blues You Can Use has been added to me Xmas list.
There is also in the series by John Ganapes "Blues you can use Guitar
chords" No cd with this one just chord construction, progression & voicings.
I bought Essential Blues guitar by Dave Celentano which is similar to blues
you can use.
I can't play the blues yet although the wife left me and the dog died. I
miss the dog
