I was going to hang my guitars on the wall using wall mounts and
I've read both good and bad. Some people seem to think they are
harmless and some people seem to think they can damage the guitar.
I know every guitar store I've walked into has a million guitars
hanging. I know there are some very knowledgeable people here.
Opinions please. Thanks.

Wall hangers are fine in general. Some may have plastic cushions that
can react with and mar nitrocellulose finishes, but I bet most anything
you buy today from a reputable seller will be safe. And, of course,
hanging guitars are more exposed to the elements. I have several
hangers and the slight danger they're exposed to is a small price to
pay for having them available at any time. Besides, I think they make
pretty decorations.

One thing to watch out for - the protective neoprene (or whatever it
is) coating on one of mine is coming off, exposing bare metal. I'll
need to replace it.
