Ed,

Interesting idea for a song. For my tastes, the bass and rhythm
guitar were too far forward in the mix, and crowded out the vocal. In
a good mix, the vocal should be riding above, kind of like how all the
elements in a painting points you to whatever image the artist wants
to draw your attention to.

The other instruments should point to and compliment the vocal. I
didn't hear that in this example. It came across as laying down
various tracks that you thought might sound good together.

I really like the concept. I would have liked to have heard the
lyrics, I couldn't really. Hope this is what you were looking for,
and isn't too critical.
