Cracker too -- they put out a straight-up Country (with some funny
tracks) album a couple of years ago.
Cracker recently released a re-recorded Greatest Hits Redux album.
Apparent they had such a raw deal on the original recordings, that they
re-did them note for note to get a better revenue share off the
compilation.
I'm listening to a lot of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, New
Pornographers, Drive-by Truckers, Graham Coxon and Mike Doughty these
days.
