Do you really have to copy every single strum
direction of every note and chord in the song?
Jeez man, play the song however you want.
OK then, I've looked into my soul, empowered myself and CHOOSEN that I
WANT to play it like the original.
More importantly, as a beginner, I'm using this as a rhythm lesson -
trying to train my ear and map the sounds I'm hearing to the motions
that produce them.
As a beginner, I'm finding it a very satisfying excercise to produce the
recognizable sound and energy of a song that I've enjoyed for a long
time.
Believe me, lack of accuracy in general comes very easy for me right
now.
