Yes, I've always considered church pastors in charge of the choir to
be music experts - quote from Red Forman:

"Dumbass!"

I explained the subject of this thread to him and the disagreement that some
of us are having. He told me that I was right and that calling a I IV Em a I
IV V was blasphemy and that anybody that calls it a 1 4 5 is a sinner and is
going to burn in Hell for all eternity.

Does doesn't make any sense - learn how to write. No one EVER said
that A-D-Em is not a 1-4-5 - duh, Am-Dm-Em is a 1-4-5 in A Natural
Minor (they are the chords to Marley's I Shot the Sheriff) - and as
roman numerals that would be i-iv-v

The ponts of contension are these:

1. You calling a v or vm a 6 - big HUH?
2. You calling I-IV-v standard whereas I-IV-V is not standard
3. plus all the other faux pas you made which indicate that if you
give a fool just a little bit of knowledge, he becomes an even bigger
fool

Now go away troll boy!

By the way - can you even tell me the names of the triads build on the
following degrees of the C major scale - on C, D, E, F, G, A, Bb &
B..... - and don't Google it either
