it's getting closer.
Eastman already is doing this. Though they are not making a full line
of guitars currently, they already are making an archtop and semihollow
that is a fraction of the cost of Gibson, and better quality and sound
imo.

Was in GC right before the holidays, looking for a small board, and was
pointed to the Behringer. The guy steered me away from their base
product stating it was lousy, and to a newer model that is supposed to
be designed after a higher end brand and is getting good reviews. I am
pretty leary about buying Behringer.
